#EndSARS: Akande Charges FG, States On Demand Of Youths
An ex governor of Osun State Chief Bisi Akande, on Friday, admonished state and federal governments to show leadership by providing solutions to the request of the youth in the country. Akande spoke at Osun Government House, Oke Fia, Oshogbo, when he led a group of elders on a solidarity visit to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola. Akande described the youth as the pillar and support of the country’s unity upon which it could attain greatness, owing to their national and global records in sports, science, academics, medicine and other areas of human endeavours. He called for cooperation of all stakeholders to enable government to fulfill its promises. In his remarks, Oyetola condemned the attack on him, describing it as a pre planned attempt to get rid of him. The governor added he learnt from the attack a lesson that there is no security but God.
