Students demand prosecution of killer soldiers over Imo undergraduate’s death

Student of the Imo State University, Owerri have asked the Chief of Army to identify and prosecute the soldiers who allegedly shot dead one of their colleagues, Divine Nwaneri, on Sunday, in front of Imo State Government House in Owerri.

Nwaneri, 24, was allegedly shot dead by suspected military men who were guarding the Government House while the victim and her friend were driving through the area.

The killing of the 100 level student of Soil Science and Biotechnology has since attracted condemnation from members of the public.
