Seyi Law Says Only Tinubu Can Fix Nigeria, Doubts Obi and Atiku
Comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, better known as Seyi Law, has shared strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying he believes that no other politician in Nigeria today can lead the country better. According to him, if Tinubu fails to move Nigeria in the right direction, no other current leader, including Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar, has the capacity to do so.
Speaking during an appearance on the Teju Babyface Deep Dive podcast, Seyi Law said he made his political choice ahead of the 2023 elections based on deep knowledge and understanding of the country’s political figures. He explained that his support for Tinubu was not out of sentiment but from what he believes is the reality of Nigeria’s leadership situation.
He stressed that his desire is to one day see his children benefit from the tough decisions he has made now. He added that if Tinubu cannot deliver positive change, there is no other politician in Nigeria’s current scene who can.
Seyi Law also gave reasons for doubting the leadership qualities of Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar. He shared a story about a governor’s aide who was allegedly caught with N200 million in cash, claiming it was for a contract. According to him, this happened under Peter Obi’s watch as a governor, and he encouraged people to look up the case themselves.
He also referred to an old incident involving Willie Obiano, Obi’s successor, who once accused Peter Obi of asking for N7.5 billion he allegedly spent to support him politically. Seyi Law believes these examples are often ignored by supporters who refuse to question their preferred candidates.
According to the comedian, many people quickly accept negative reports about certain politicians but completely reject similar reports when it involves someone they support. He warned that such double standards are dangerous and urged Nigerians to seek the truth no matter who is involved.
Seyi Law’s comments have stirred fresh reactions, especially on social media, where opinions remain divided. While his confidence in Tinubu may not sit well with everyone, the comedian firmly believes that no other current political figure can offer better leadership.
