Young Nigerian Goalkeeper Signs Deal with Chelsea

Young goalkeeper Prince Adegoke has penned his first professional contract with English Premier League side Chelsea FC.

Adegoke was snapped up by Chelsea in April 2016 after he was spotted playing for the U12 team of Langley FC.

 

The highly rated goalkeeper signed a two and half year deal with the London side after an impressive performance with the academy.

 

The deal will keep the the goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge until at least the end of the 2022-2023 season, but it is subjected to renewal based on his performances.

 

It will be recalled that the 17 year old net minder was invited to the Golden Eaglets camp in 2019, but Chelsea refused to release him.

 

On the new deal Adegoke tweeted : “I’m Happy To have Sign my Professional Contract @chelseafc I Thank God For Everything💙💙💙
