They confirmed that Lil Smart was taken into custody following a petition filed by a law firm on behalf of Naira Marley. According to the police, he was arrested for criminal defamation, cyberstalking, and cyberbullying after making false claims against the music executive.
The statement further revealed that Lil Smart was apprehended on January 28, 2025, at his residence in Megamound Estate, Ajah, Lagos. Authorities stated that relevant exhibits linked to the case were also recovered during his arrest.
