KWAM 1 Is Like a Son to Me I Can Never Fight Him – Kollington Ayinla Speaks Out

Veteran Fuji icon General Ayinla Kollington has shut down rumours of a feud with fellow Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1), declaring that he considers him a son and holds no grudge against him.

Speaking during an interview on the Tejubabyface Show, Kollington dismissed claims that the relationship between him and KWAM 1 had gone sour. He stressed that there’s no bad blood, despite what people may think or say.

“I often hear rumours about a supposed fight between K1 and me. How can I be fighting with my own son?” he asked. “Even if he has more wealth than I do, I am still his father.” He added that nothing—not fame, fortune, or hearsay—could affect the love he has for KWAM 1.

Many had speculated that Kollington’s absence during the mourning period following the death of K1’s mother had driven a wedge between the two. But the Fuji veteran made it clear that the story was unfounded and not worth believing.

In a touching moment, Kollington also shared how KWAM 1 once played a pivotal role in mending his own relationship with the late Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, another Fuji pioneer. He recalled how K1 urged him to reach out and reconcile with Barrister after years of tension.

“When things were tense between Barrister and me, K1 called me after my mother died,” Kollington said. “He asked, ‘Have you called your friend yet?’ I said no. He reminded me of how Barrister supported me during my own mother’s passing. That call made me reflect, and I decided to reconnect.”

The story painted a picture of a genuine, family-like bond between KWAM 1 and Kollington, contradicting the media-fueled narrative of rivalry.
