Late Nollywood actress, writer, and producer Allwell Ademola has been laid to rest today, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos. The news was confirmed by the committee overseeing her final rites.

Ademola, who passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 49 following a heart attack at her home, was mourned widely across the Nigerian entertainment industry. Her death has left a deep void in Nollywood, where she was celebrated for her versatility and passion for the arts.

Guests attending the burial were advised to dress in white shirts and jeans, reflecting the simple yet meaningful tribute chosen by the family. The ceremony followed a series of memorial events held in her honour. On Thursday, January 8, 2026, friends, colleagues, and fans gathered at LTV 8 in Ikeja, Lagos, for a Service of Songs. The programme included emotional tributes, a candlelight procession, and concluded with an Artistes’ Night to celebrate her life and legacy.
