Portable Reveals He Wants to Return to School to Avoid Being Seen as Illiterate by His Children

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has revealed his intention to return to school, citing personal growth and setting an example for his children as key motivations. Despite his growing fame and the success of his hit song “Zazuu Zeh,” Portable believes education remains crucial for intellectual development and societal respect.

Portable, who previously earned an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, admitted that he never collected his certificate after completing the program. He said, “I wan go back to school. I want to finish my education. I dey sponsor people’s children and my own children too. I don’t want my children to be mocked that their father is illiterate. I wan go back to school so that I will be able to manage my music career better, and it will also help in my dealings with people.”
