Portable Praises President Tinubu Says Nigeria Has Improved Under His Leadership

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has stirred conversation online after releasing a new video praising President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In the video, he declared that Nigeria has only started getting better since Tinubu took over as president, describing him as the “best president” the country has had.

According to Portable, past leaders only talked about change, but Tinubu is making silent progress. “Since when dem don born me, wey Nigeria don dey, e go better, e go better — na Tinubu tenure Nigeria better,” he said in Pidgin, implying that this is the first administration he believes has brought actual improvement.

He also criticized those who constantly insult Tinubu on social media, asking them to stop speaking badly about the country’s leader. Portable insisted that the president is “working silently” and does not make unnecessary noise like others before him.

His statement has received mixed reactions online. While some people praised him for showing boldness and patriotism, others felt his comments were misplaced and questioned the reality of the so-called progress under Tinubu’s government.

Why did Portable support Tinubu?
According to him, the president is quietly bringing real change to Nigeria without boasting or making big promises, unlike other leaders who “only talk.”

Meanwhile, in another celebrity news update, music star Davido is also making headlines after a photo of his new real estate project surfaced online. The image showed heavy construction on a massive plot of land, reportedly for his new 16-bedroom mansion in Eko Atlantic, Lagos.

Fans were amazed by the size of the property, which covers about 2,700 square meters. This new mansion adds to Davido’s growing real estate portfolio, which includes a home in Banana Island and other properties in Lekki. The Banana Island home is especially known as the residence where his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, tragically passed away.

While Portable’s praise for Tinubu has sparked debate, it reflects the diverse opinions Nigerians have about the current government. As the country continues to face economic and social challenges, many are eager to see whether this “silent progress” will lead to long-term improvements.
