Osimhen and Teammates Arrive in Rwanda for World Cup Qualifier

Nigeria’s preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Rwanda are in full swing as key Super Eagles players arrive in Kigali ahead of the crucial match.

Star striker Victor Osimhen, along with Bruno Onyemaechi, Papa Daniel Mustapha, and Kayode Bankole, were the first to touch down in Rwanda, marking the beginning of the team’s buildup for Friday’s showdown.

A video shared on the official Super Eagles X handle on Monday, March 17, captured the moment the players arrived at Kigali International Airport, where they were welcomed by head coach Eric Chelle and other team officials.

The Super Eagles captioned the video: “Early arrival of Super Eagles officials and four players – Victor Osimhen, Bruno Onyemaechi, Papa Daniel Mustapha, and Kayode Bankole.”

As the team continues to assemble, expectations are high for a strong performance in the World Cup qualifiers. With Osimhen leading the squad, Nigerian fans are hopeful for a successful campaign on the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
