Opeyemi Aiyeola Blasts Eniola Badmus for Body Shaming Comment

Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has strongly called out her colleague Eniola Badmus for what she described as an insensitive and body-shaming comment on her Instagram post. The heated exchange began after Eniola, who currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass, questioned Opeyemi about her hairline in a public comment.

The comment, which read “Ope where is your front hair???”, did not sit well with Opeyemi, who addressed the issue during an emotional Instagram Live session. Clearly disappointed, she accused Eniola of hypocrisy, especially given that Eniola herself had been a victim of online body shaming in the past.

Opeyemi expressed shock that someone who had experienced such ridicule would make fun of another woman’s appearance. She stressed that Eniola rarely interacts with her content online, yet chose to leave a hurtful comment that attracted support from others.

“This livestream is for Eniola Badmus… You used to be an image of ridicule and body shaming on social media, to now think that you who has experienced the hurt and pain of body shaming, could come under my video,” she said.

She didn’t hold back her frustration, even going as far as calling Eniola an “animal” and “ignorant,” stating that people who associate with her should be cautious. Opeyemi criticized Eniola’s view of beauty, suggesting that the actress lacks a deeper understanding of what real beauty means.

“What exactly is funny? What exactly was that statement for? You see yourself in the mirror and what you see is beauty? You think a person’s physical appearance is all beauty is about? You are ignorant,” she added.

The drama has sparked discussions online about bullying and body shaming within the entertainment industry, with fans divided over whether the comment was just a joke or truly offensive.
