Nigerian Rapper 3GAR Baby Survives High-Speed Car Crash in South Africa

Nigerian rapper 3GAR Baby, whose real name is Prince Daniel Obioma, has survived a serious car accident in Cape Town, South Africa. The crash occurred on Saturday morning along High Level Road in Sea Point while he was driving a McLaren 570S at high speed.

The incident gained widespread attention after the CCTV footage of the crash went viral online. The rapper later confirmed the accident in an Instagram post, expressing gratitude for surviving. Sharing a selfie from what appeared to be a medical facility, he wrote:

“Nah, small thing remain. Could’ve been all over! I can’t stop thanking God for life.”

Images from the accident scene showed Obioma sitting on the road, bleeding from his face, while emergency responders attended to him. A passenger, who has not yet been identified, was also injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to reports from Arrive Alive.

Although the rapper survived the accident, social media reactions have been largely critical. Many users on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram have accused him of reckless driving, with some even calling for legal action against him for endangering lives.
