Lagos Announces 2025/2026 Model College Entrance Exam Results

The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has officially released the results for the 2025/2026 entrance examinations into its model colleges and upgraded secondary schools across the state.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, urged candidates and their parents to visit the respective schools they selected during registration to check their results.

According to Dokunmu-Adegbite, placement into the schools will be strictly based on merit, and the cut-off marks will differ from one school to another depending on candidates’ performance and available space.

“Placement will be based purely on merit. Each school will have its own cut-off mark,” she stated.

She also warned parents and guardians to be careful and avoid scammers who may try to sell them fake admission promises.

“The Lagos State Government does not support any secret or backdoor admission process,” she added. “All successful candidates will be treated fairly and equally.”

The Ministry further encouraged families to disregard any unofficial messages or third-party agents claiming to offer admission assistance. All valid information will be shared only through official school channels.
