Gaise Baba Tops Nigeria’s 2025 YouTube Music Charts, Beats Wizkid and Davido

YouTube has unveiled its 2025 Nigeria Year-in-Review, highlighting the most-watched music videos, top digital creators, and entertainment content across the country. Gospel singer Gaise Baba’s powerful track, No Turning Back II featuring Lawrence Oyor, claimed the number one spot, accumulating over 41 million views in just six months and surpassing hits by Wizkid, Davido, and other leading artists.

The song has resonated strongly with Nigerians, reflecting the growing influence and reach of faith-based music in the country. Its success underscores the power of spiritual content in engaging both national and global audiences.

Alongside Gaise Baba’s triumph, other music videos topping the charts include Shallipopi’s Laho, Davido’s With You featuring Omah Lay, Olamide’s Ninety Nine featuring Seyi Vibez, Asake, and Young John, Asake’s Why Love, Rema’s Baby Is It a Crime, Chella’s My Darling, and Wizkid’s Kese (Dance). Notably, Davido’s “With You” visualizer and “Shallipopi” featuring Burna Boy in “Laho II” also made the list, reflecting the diversity of Nigerian music trending on YouTube.
