One Instagram user commented under a City Edge TV post, saying Eniola was trying to copy a foreign accent but failed to show basic manners in a public space. “You went to a country, borrowed their accent but couldn’t borrow orderliness and respect,” the user wrote.
Eniola later saw the comment and responded with just one word: “Werey,” a Nigerian slang term used to insult someone. This reply only fueled the backlash further, with many accusing her of being rude and disrespectful.
