Don Jazzy Explains Why He Will Not Buy a Private Jet

Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records CEO, Don Jazzy, has opened up about why he has no plans to buy a private jet, even though he can comfortably afford one. The music star shared this during a conversation with YouTuber Habby Forex, where he discussed money management and personal values.

Don Jazzy said that even though success has brought him financial freedom, his focus remains on responsibility rather than luxury. He explained that some wealthy individuals rush into buying expensive items just to show off, but he prefers to invest his money wisely and support the people who depend on him.

He emphasized that many young people are quick to spend on flashy items they do not need, simply because they want to look wealthy. According to him, this mindset often leads to financial struggle in the long run. He advised young earners to control their spending and think carefully before making big purchases.

In his words, he believes nothing is more important than investing, whether it is in business ventures, long-term projects, or personal development. He stressed that gaining knowledge and skills can open doors to greater opportunities, and that growth starts from taking small steps and being patient.

Don Jazzy also shared a personal example to show his approach toward spending. He revealed that he once owned a Land Cruiser that he used for about six years. Instead of buying new cars frequently, he simply upgraded and changed the colour when necessary. He said this allowed him to save money while still enjoying his life comfortably.

He noted that a private jet may look glamorous, but it comes with massive maintenance costs, staff expenses, and continuous spending that may not add real value to life. For him, helping others and building lasting investments matter far more than owning luxurious items.

The music mogul encouraged young people to focus on building strong foundations for their future. He advised them to learn skills, start small businesses, manage money wisely, and avoid wasteful expenses.
