Daniel Etim-Effiong’s Wife Reveals What He Told Her About His Life Plans
Toyosi Etim-Effiong, wife of Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong, has opened up about the conversation that revealed her husband’s lifelong dream.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, she recalled that when they first met, she asked him about his plans in life. Daniel responded without hesitation, saying his dream was to make films. At that time, he was studying for a Master’s degree in Filmmaking at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa, while she was pursuing Producing at the New York Film Academy.
Toyosi explained that his answer did not surprise or scare her because their career paths were naturally aligned. She added that his passion for filmmaking was clear from the beginning and has remained consistent throughout the years.
She highlighted how Daniel has spent years perfecting his craft, directing commercials for top brands, as well as producing documentaries and short films. His hard work has already earned him recognition and awards in the film industry.
According to Toyosi, Daniel’s latest film is not a sudden achievement but the result of many years of dedication, consistency, and a strong creative foundation. She described his journey as inspiring, showing how dreams backed by focus and hard work can become reality.
She wrote: “When I met @etimeffiong and asked what his plans in life were, he said pretty straightforwardly, ‘I want to make films.’ He was getting a Masters in Filmmaking at the University of Johannesburg in SA and I was getting a one-year diploma in Producing at New York Film Academy in New York, so his dream didn’t scare me. In fact, it seemed like we were very much aligned.”
