Cute Abiola Shares How He Balanced Navy Life with Skit Making

Abdulgafar Abiola, better known as Cute Abiola, has revealed how he balanced his career in the Nigerian Navy with his passion for creating skits. In a recent interview with HipTV, he explained how he worked almost every day of the week and still managed to post content online regularly.

The popular comedian described his time in the Navy as one of the hardest periods of his life. He said it was tough, but he remained focused on his goals and never lost sight of what he wanted to achieve.

“I’ve been through tougher times than what I face now,” he said. “Being in the Navy and still making skits was very difficult. I used to work from Monday to Saturday, yet I would still post skits two or three times a week.”

Cute Abiola, who attended the Nigerian Navy training school, said he was driven by personal financial targets. He knew what he wanted to earn and worked hard to make it happen, month after month.

“I gave myself revenue goals,” he explained. “That pushed me to stay consistent. I always aimed to earn more than I did the previous month.”

In 2022, after getting approval from the Chief of Naval Staff, he officially left the Navy to focus fully on entertainment. He described the approval as a major relief and a turning point in his life.

“I was so happy when the Chief of Naval Staff approved my exit. That gave me the time and freedom to chase my dreams,” he said.

Today, Cute Abiola is one of Nigeria’s most successful skit makers. His story inspires many young people who are trying to juggle demanding jobs and personal dreams. His journey shows that with discipline, passion, and hard work, anything is possible.
