Content Creator Peller Offers ₦500K Monthly Salary for Cameraman in Viral Job Post
Popular Nigerian content creator Peller has taken social media by storm after he announced a rare and generous job opportunity for unemployed Nigerians. In a video that quickly went viral, Peller offered a ₦500,000 monthly salary for the position of a cameraman, encouraging job seekers to act fast and apply.
In his usual humorous and blunt style, Peller opened the video by introducing himself and speaking directly to unemployed youths in Nigeria. He wasted no time in getting to the point.
“Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Pella. So, for all of you that is jobless, I don’t guess any job. Me, I need a cameraman,” he said.
Taking a jab at the common claim that “there are no jobs in Nigeria,” he replied sarcastically:
“All of you saying job no dey Nigeria, now job don dey o! E remain to reach your hand.”
Peller then dropped the headline offer:
“I’ll be paying the person ₦500,000 a month.”
He instructed interested applicants to message him directly for more information and attend a physical screening on Friday, saying:
“Just text me, I will give you address where you’ll come on Friday. I need just 20 people. Out of the 20 people, maybe we’ll choose two people.”
Adding his usual comic flavor, he jokingly suggested candidates bring their Master’s degree certificate—mocking how some high-paying jobs in Nigeria still offer meager salaries despite high education levels.
“Please, if you are coming, bring your Master’s certificate… Because if na bank job you wan go wey dem go dey pay you ₦60,000 salary, you go dey carry bouncer, you go dey waka like werey for street.”

“Text me now or comment. Somebody that you know needs this, please don’t hesitate to share to your friend.”
When asked about gender preference for the job, Peller added a cheeky remark:
“I will prefer a woman so that if you carry my money go out quick, I will catch her!”
The viral announcement has stirred massive engagement online, with many Nigerians expressing surprise at the salary offer and praising Peller for creating employment, even in a small way.
As thousands continue to battle unemployment in Nigeria, Peller’s offer shines a spotlight on creative industry jobs that are often overlooked, proving that opportunities do exist, sometimes in unexpected places.
