American hip-hop legend Trevor Smith Jr, popularly known as Busta Rhymes, has revealed plans to relocate to Nigeria and find a Nigerian wife. The 53-year-old rapper announced his performance at the Detty December Fest held over the weekend in Lagos.

Busta Rhymes explained that he intends to settle in Nigeria after he retires from music to focus on building a family. He described his visit to Nigeria as “special,” noting that it had been 15 years since he first wanted to come to the country.

“I’m looking for a home here, I’m looking for property. I’m thinking about looking for a wife so that when I stop working, I can settle down here,” he said, expressing his admiration for Nigeria and his desire to build roots in the country.
