Bobrisky Says God Keeps Blessing Her Even Without Going to Church
Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, widely known as Bobrisky, has sparked fresh reactions online after stating that she doesn’t attend church every Sunday, yet still enjoys numerous blessings from God. She made this statement through her Instagram story, expressing confidence that God constantly listens to her prayers and answers them, regardless of what people think of her.
In her post, Bobrisky said her life is full of God’s goodness, and she believes she has been chosen to receive divine favour. She stressed that even without regular church attendance, she has everything she asks for and is committed to helping others with the blessings she receives.
According to her, “I might not attend church weekly, but I know God loves me so much. He gives everything I ask Him, and I won’t stop blessing people from what He’s providing for me, regardless of what people think.”
This comment comes amid ongoing public interest in her personal life and spirituality. Bobrisky has long been a controversial figure in Nigeria, often criticized for her lifestyle, yet she continues to maintain a strong fan base.
In a separate development, some ex-inmates from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre have shared insights about Bobrisky’s time in prison. They alleged that during her six-month sentence, she was not kept in the general male population but instead placed in a special VIP section of the male wing.
Speaking on The Honest Bunch podcast, the former prisoners claimed that Bobrisky received special treatment. “We dey prison, and he dey special place inside the prison,” one of them said in Pidgin English. “People are come visit am and we dey see am every day. He no dey outside o, but he no join us for the general cell.”
These comments add to the growing public curiosity about Bobrisky’s personal experiences and spiritual beliefs.
