Gunwoman Opens Fire on Rihanna’s Beverly Hills Home, No Injuries Reported

Pop superstar and business mogul Rihanna narrowly escaped harm after her Beverly Hills residence came under gunfire on Sunday, according to police reports. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to emergency calls at 1:15 p.m. local time (21:15 GMT) and discovered that a woman in her 30s had fired multiple shots at the property before fleeing the scene. Law enforcement confirmed that assault rifle casings were recovered from the house, but fortunately, Rihanna and her family were unharmed.

Police tracked the suspect’s vehicle approximately 12 kilometers from Rihanna’s residence and took her into custody. Authorities have not publicly released the identity of the woman involved. No injuries were reported during the attack, despite the pop icon being inside the home at the time.

Rihanna, born Robyn Fenty in Barbados, has previously made headlines for her prolific music career and successful business ventures, including her Fenty Beauty makeup line and Savage X Fenty lingerie brand. Last year, in September 2025, Rihanna welcomed her third child, a daughter, with her partner A$AP Rocky, joining their two sons, Riot and RZA.

In addition to her personal milestones, Rihanna recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her debut album and continues to maintain a high-profile presence in music, fashion, and entrepreneurship. Forbes estimates her net worth at over $1 billion, highlighting her success as both an entertainer and businesswoman.

This incident comes after a series of high-profile legal and personal events in Rihanna’s life, including her presence at the February 2025 trial where A$AP Rocky was acquitted in a firearms-related case involving a former associate.

The BBC has reached out to Rihanna’s representatives for comment regarding the incident.
