People Are Obsessed With Age – Adunni Ade Reacts to Birthday Speculation

Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has spoken out after fresh speculation about her age surfaced online, saying that many people seem unnecessarily obsessed with how old she is.

The actress shared her reaction after receiving a private message from a cinematographer who assumed she would be turning 50 next year. The message, which was sent politely, offered to cover her “50th birthday event” for free. While Adunni acknowledged the good intention behind the message, she found the assumption about her age amusing and incorrect.

Reacting publicly, Adunni made it clear that she is not close to turning 50, dismissing claims that she is 48 or 49 years old. She expressed frustration over how often people speculate about her age, saying Nigerians have taken age obsession too far. According to her, such assumptions keep coming up despite her repeatedly addressing the issue in the past.

In her response, the actress used humour and strong expressions to stress her point, urging people not to add years to her age unnecessarily. She explained that she still has time before reaching such milestones and asked people to relax and stop spreading false assumptions.
