Iyabo Ojo Welcomes Priscilla, Juma Jux, and Baby Rakeem Home to Nigeria in Grand Style
Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has joyfully welcomed her daughter Priscilla Ojo, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, and their adorable son Rakeem back to Nigeria after the family spent 40 days celebrating in Tanzania.
In a heartwarming video shared on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram page, the actress captured the emotional moment she surprised Priscilla and her family at her home. Friends, relatives, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the family’s arrival, turning the occasion into a lively cultural event.
Traditional drummers and singers lined the entrance, creating a festive atmosphere as Priscilla walked in, visibly shocked and overjoyed to see the warm reception. Juma Jux, holding baby Rakeem in his arms, followed closely behind as the family received cheers and applause.
The celebration quickly turned into a mini party, with guests dancing and singing along to a live rendition of Juma Jux’s hit song “Ayo Mi Tide.” Jux thrilled everyone with his dance moves, while Priscilla playfully covered his head with a cloth to shield him from flashing cameras.
The joyful homecoming followed a recent online controversy after Priscilla was criticized for allowing her baby, less than two months old, to watch cartoons. A viral video showing Rakeem watching Cocomelon sparked debate among fans, with many advising caution on screen exposure for infants.
Despite the online buzz, the family appeared cheerful and united as they returned home. Fans and celebrities filled the comment section with love and prayers for baby Rakeem, expressing excitement at the family’s return.
One user, @i_am_dinmaa, commented, “Imagine say you be hater like? Moments like this go don give you Hypertension. Warmest welcome JPR.” Another fan wrote, “Welcome home the Mkambalas and heir. God protect and preserve you all.”
Iyabo Ojo’s grand welcome not only highlighted her deep love for her daughter and grandson but also reinforced the strong family bond that fans have come to admire.
