Fubara Assures Rivers People of Continued Service After Warm Welcome

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has promised that his administration will keep working in the best interest of the people. He gave this assurance on Friday after arriving at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

Fubara expressed gratitude to Rivers residents for the massive reception they gave him earlier at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, in Ikwerre Local Government Area. He said the turnout was a true reflection of love, confidence, and solidarity between him and the people.

Speaking with excitement, the Governor said, “I know everyone wanted to hear something from me, and you expected me to talk immediately I landed at the airport. But let me first thank the wonderful people of Rivers State. I was humbled by the huge crowd that came out to receive me. That love is something I can never forget.”

He added that the reception was more than just a celebration. According to him, it showed that Rivers people trust and stand by his government. Fubara said, “The massive reception was not just about celebration, but about reaffirming the bond between this government and the people it serves.”

The Governor further assured residents that he would continue to deliver policies and projects that improve their lives. “By the grace of God, we will keep doing the things that make you proud of us. We appreciate everyone, and I want to say we love you, but God loves you more,” he noted.

Fubara also revealed that he would make an official state broadcast at 6 pm on Friday to thank all those who worked hard to restore peace and normalcy in the state.

His message comes at a time when Rivers people are watching closely how his government will manage the challenges facing the state.
