Nkubi’s Wife Slams Troll Who Advised Her to Kill Their Daughter Over Appearance
Vivian Joseph, wife of Nigerian comedian and actor, Nkubi (real name Victor Nwaogu), has strongly condemned a social media user who advised her to take the life of their young daughter, Soromtochukwu, because of her appearance.
The disturbing incident occurred on Monday after Vivian shared a screenshot of the offensive message on Instagram alongside a picture of the man alleged to have sent it. In the message, the troll heartlessly suggested that it would be better for her to “end the child’s life” while she was still little.
Shocked and furious, Vivian labelled the man a “murderer,” questioning how anyone could make such a cruel suggestion about an innocent child.

Her post quickly went viral, drawing outrage from Nigerians across social media. Many users described the troll’s statement as heartless, unacceptable, and reflective of the growing toxicity on digital platforms.
One user, Caroline Chinedu, wrote:
“It’s the audacity for me? Person pikin wey he no create? And he called it little advice 🙄. So na person husband or future husband be this o? Hmmm.”
Another, Lolo Jennifer Onyekachi, added:
“See how it sounds so easy to you 🙄. Na your pikin you go use your hand kpai! You go soon get what you deserve.”
Others like Blessing Idiora and Mummy Kamaf emphasized that the comment was not just cruel but deeply insensitive, especially towards parents who cherish their children regardless of appearance.
Social media reactions also highlighted Nkubi’s journey as an entertainer, noting that if his own mother had given in to such toxic thinking, he would not be where he is today. “If Nkubi’s mum don kpai am when he dey small, will he be where he is today? People just open mouth dey talk without reasoning,” wrote Sarah Oluwanbunmi.
A more emotional reaction came from Walshak Kos, who praised Vivian’s strength amid online toxicity. He wrote:
“Mrs Nkubi is one of the strongest women I know. She has faced so many toxic comments from people who cannot even create a strand of hair but are quick to mock God’s creation. What is her crime? Because she fell in love with a man her heart desired? It’s really pathetic.”
The incident has reignited conversations about cyberbullying, parenting shaming, and the disturbing culture of trolling in Nigeria’s online space. Many Nigerians have rallied behind Vivian, sending words of love and encouragement to her and her family.
