Yhemolee Speaks Out After Rumours of Marriage Crisis with Thayour B
Nigerian nightlife figure and actor Idowu Adeyemi, better known as Yhemolee, has finally addressed the rumours surrounding his marriage to Oyin Tayo, also known as Thayour B. This comes after fans noticed the couple had deleted all their wedding and romantic photos from Instagram, sparking talk of a possible split.
Yhemolee and Thayour B got married in September 2024 and welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in January 2025. Their social media clean-up and Yhemolee’s recent cryptic posts left many followers concerned about their relationship status. The actor posted emotionally charged messages that hinted at disappointment and betrayal. In one of his rants, he criticised women in general, saying, “Useless set of women everywhere! Better don’t die for woman! Your loss bro!! The bitches don’t care!”
Other posts suggested he was dealing with a period of personal struggle. One read, “Isolation is your gift. It feels like punishment at first… but in that silence, something powerful happens. You stop chasing external validation… No one is coming to save you.” He also wrote, “Proud to announce that I am making a bad decision but I’m not telling y’all what it is so you can’t stop me.”
Switching platforms, Yhemolee took to Snapchat to further vent. He seemed to accuse women of being ungrateful, saying, “The fastest way for a man to hate you is when you never acknowledge his sacrifices positively… Most women only look out for men’s fault hence why some of you end up with demons!”
Despite the intensity of these posts, Yhemolee has now attempted to play down the marriage crisis. He claimed that his rants were influenced by the storyline of To Kill a Monkey, a film by Kemi Adetiba. In his words, “Agenda must agend. So even if I get crisis na people wey never chop since yesterday I go come tell? 😂 Me wey don dey rake since I watch TKAM. My family dey go enjoy life like this. Make una dey there dey cry for Ijegun.”
While some fans believe his explanation, others remain unsure about the true state of his marriage. For now, Yhemolee insists all is well, but the drama has certainly drawn public attention.
