Oliseh Open to Managing Super Eagles Again Under Right Conditions
Oliseh, who previously led the Super Eagles from July 2015 to February 2016, revealed his stance on a potential comeback during an interview. Despite his brief tenure, he left a mark with his coaching style and tactics.
During his time in charge, Oliseh faced challenges, including a strained relationship with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and conflicts with senior players within the team. Despite these hurdles, Oliseh’s passion for the game and commitment to the national team remained evident.
Amid speculation about potential successors to the vacant coaching position, with Oliseh’s name among those considered, he hinted at his readiness to step up if called upon. When queried about his interest in coaching the Super Eagles again, Oliseh remained diplomatic, stating that he would evaluate the situation based on the conditions presented.
In an interview with Channels Television Sports, Oliseh stated, “Right now, what I can say is that I am going to put my wildcard on this question. As I have also often said, if Nigeria needs my services, I will always help my country if the right conditions are met.”
His response indicates a willingness to contribute to Nigerian football once again, underscoring his enduring commitment to his country’s footballing success.
