The daughter of former Military Head of State, Mrs. Aisha Muhammed-Oyebode, has said every Nigerian child , regardless of social economic situation and ability, deserves decent education.
According to a statement on Sunday in Lagos, Muhammed-Oyebode said this while handing over as the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Unity Schools Old Students Association, noting unity schools epitomized the dream of a united Nigeria.
She was quoted as saying, “Unity schools epitomize the dream of a united Nigeria and a Nigeria where every child irrespective of socio-economic situation, geography, language and ability deserves a decent education.
Mohammed-Oyebode thanked the USOSA and lauded the newly elected chairman of the board.
“Mr. Uyi Akpata of Federal Government College, Warri, the board’s new elected chairman, is a seasoned professional who is passionate about USOSA and i want to urge that similar cooperation and support should be extended to the new leadership in the task of moving the association to further heights”, she said.
