2face’s ‘Only Me’ Cover Ignites Massive Fan Debate About Tiwa Savage, Tems

Nigerian female singers, Tiwa Savage and Tems have become a trending topic on Twitter as Nigerians argue which artiste is a better singer.

A video of Tiwa Savage doing a cover of 2face’s ‘Only Me’ resurfaced online on Friday which led to her fans hailing her as the ‘biggest female singer in Nigeria’.

However, Tems fans argued that the ‘Essence’ star is a better singer than Tiwa.
Whilst some people said Tems is a new generation singer and has influenced some Fast-rising artists like Arya Starr and Fave because they sound alike.

Some are saying that Tiwa Savage can hop on any genre, especially when she killed her verse on DJ Enimoney’s ‘Diet’  ft Reminisce and Slimcase, but Tems can’t hold her own outside her comfort zone.
