Iroko TV boss, Jason Njoku in a recent post on social media reveals that himself and his wife Mary Remmy Njoku won’t be leaving any inheritance for their kids.

Jason Njoku, a self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur made this known in a recent post shared via his official Twitter handle today, December 23rd, 2022.

Recall that Jason Njoku born in Deptford, South East London, a graduate of Chemistry at University of Manchester, UK built Iroko TV after 11th attempt at starting a business. He got married to Mary Remmy Njoku, an actress and CEO of ROK Studios in 2012 and blessed with children.

In his tweet, Jason Njoku said that himself and wife will not be leaving any inheritance for their kids as he claims that inherited wealth is mostly a burden.

He further added that himself together with his wife have guaranteed their kids a better education and after that their job is done as they are going to leave as little behind as possible.

Jason Njoku tweeted, “@MrsMaryNjoku & I save to guarantee our kids a great education. After that our job is done & they can fend for themselves. We don’t save for ourselves we spend to enjoy today. Young money is better than old money. It’s way more fun. Trying to leave as little behind as possible.”

He added; “From all I have read Inherited wealth is mostly a burden. We actually don’t buy much stuff. We spend on family experiences. Experiences we hope to gist about when we’re old and less mobile. In the end life is to be lived.”

@1QueenLight: An inheritance is a burden when children aren’t adequately prepared and trusts, etc are not set up + run properly.

@awonda: Inherited wealth isn’t bad as long as there is a trust and structure behind it. Also there is a leg up that it gives your kids to follow their dreams and do the same for the next generation. I know you probably have read about the Rockefellers of NY. Just be mindful as you draw Down when old to plan for sickness in old age because that i know for a fact is one of the reasons people in this age bracket get broke. In the US we have the health insurance (HSA) you can fund and also invest that can take care of this for you because the cost is astronomical.

abisolaking: Parenting is till the end, education is basic human right! Do because you sent them to school that’s it?? That’s all??

toiyoabasi1: Some people will làment here because they think education means Nursery to university and ASUU. These children will definitely make money. Jason and Mary are two of the most smartest people. So please don’t worry about their kids, they’re smart enough to make billions. Worry for yourself o. These parents teach their children viable skills and serious money education. They didn’t also say they won’t leave them the companies. They said they won’t save money and leave for kids to inherit. Jason without any rich parents made money in his youth. Trust me the kids will outdo them. Parents connection, education, skills, exposure etc. Don’t worry for these kids. Worry for yourself and your own children because if care is not taken, they may grow up to establish companies and employ some people crying here.

favinekelly: Facts o. I will travel with my money. If change remain una go inherit??.

bags_and_items_: Wahala ti eyin ni yen…people be talking nonsense confidently…why you born them if you no wan keep anything for them?.

gloriachidobem: Inherited wealth is never a burden….pikin wey no get, no get sense , it’s usually a stepping stone, Even the Bible encourages parents to leave wealth for their children.
