Mohammed Salah and Heung-min Son share PL Golden Boot
Mohamed Salah scored late on the final day of the Premier League to share the 2021-22 Golden Boot with Spurs’ Heung-min Son by scoring 23 goals.
Spurs put themselves three up at Carrow Road before Son got on the scoresheet, scoring a brace in the second half.
Salah went into Liverpool’s final-day clash at home to Wolves needing to win and have Manchester City drop points to claim the title, although both teams fell behind.
Liverpool finished 2nd position with just a point behind Manchester City, while Tottenham finished at the 4th position which they strongly contested with Arsenal. Both the Reds and Spurs are qualified for the UEFA Champion’s league next season.
