Why we established all-women squad for schools- NSCDC
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Osun State command had said the choice of women for a special squad for protection of public schools is due to inherent passion of women for the protection of children.
This was disclosed by the Squad Commander, NSCDC women special squad in Osun command, Deputy Superintendent of Corps, Ayodele Adepoju.
In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Olabisi Atanda, on Thursday, Adepoju explained that the squad was ready to ensure that schools in the state were safe for learning.
Ayodele called on members of the public to collaborate with the squad by giving actionable intelligence and logistical support that would ensure safety in all public schools across the state.
