Jamie Vardy Reacts In ‘Pidgin’ As Leicester Players Exchange Banters
“No be me do am” – England striker, Jamie Vardy hilariously replies Ndidi and Iheanacho in pidgin English
Nigerian and Leicester City stars, Wilfried Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho have influenced their teammate and close friend, Jamie Vardy, into speaking pidgin English.
The England striker, 33, shattered the corner flag during his wild celebration after scoring the winner to help his team beat Sheffield United 2 – 1 at Bramall Lane on Sunday, December 6.
He was shown a yellow card by the referee for damaging the corner flag but the punishment didn’t change the scoreline.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, who both came in the second half to help their team secure the victory, took Vardy’s wild celebration to social media and the discussion has left many Nigerians in stitches.
After the game, Iheanacho shared a photo of his teammates celebrating with Vardy on Instagram and then wrote: ‘Great fight boys well deserved 3 points, @ndidi25 Wilf, what are you looking at?’
‘Corner flag wey vardy break lol,’ Ndidi replied.
Vardy later joined the discussion as he responded to the two Nigerians, saying: ‘@ndidi25 @kelechi72 No be me do am.’
