Kajuru Killing – Five Arrested Over Alleged Fulani Spies’ Death
The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested five suspects in connection to the lynching of four Adara youths believed to be spies for Fulani herdsmen terrorising communities in the Kajuru Local Government Area of the state. The four Adara youth were said to have been lynched allegedly by their kinsmen in Doka and Kallah villages on Saturday. The villagers had suspected that the four youths Ayuba Zagi, Danladi Shekarau and David kampani and Jumare Anthony, had acted as informants to the Fulani. The National President of Adara Development Association in Kaduna State, confirmed the killings. He said “We have been told what happened but our position is that we condemned anybody involved in criminal activities whether he is Adara or Fulani. We are told that some of the suspects have been taken to the police station so our view is that let justice takes its course so that there would be no jungle justice again.” The Kaduna Police Command on Tuesday said it arrested five suspects in connection with the dastardly act. The Police Public Relations Officer,(PPRO) in the state said the five suspects had assisted the command with useful information on the matter.
